Portrait Art Show -
Artists were requested to portray Madam Thimmakka - Padmashree Awardee for making the Earth a greener place
Thimmakka is a 107 years young lady who has been planting and nurturing trees all through her life and is still doing it. I felt so honored to have been invited to do a portrait of her. As no reference picture was given and also as I had not seen her in person, I took reference from newspapers and internet media and made a painting of her to represent her beautiful work of Lifetime.
The art show 'Saalumarada Thimmakka' - was held at 'Vinscent Art Galleria' from 19th January 2020 through 10th February 2020.
